FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

All You Need to Know

What makes mTrade different?

mTrade is a focused international trading house active across Asia‑linked agricultural and soft commodity corridors, alongside selected internationally traded goods.

We trade directly as principal, assume full execution risk and act decisively when markets fragment. We step into transactions already in motion — cargo in shipment, supply chains under pressure, buyers unable to perform.

We assess quickly, price with discipline and execute. Our role is straightforward: keep goods moving and restore certainty where trade has stalled.

What does it mean to trade as principal?

Trading as principal means we buy and sell directly for our own account.

We take ownership of the goods, assume commercial and execution risk, and stand behind the outcome. We do not broker, arrange or intermediate between counterparties — we transact directly.

This allows us to act quickly when timing is critical, including situations where cargo is already in shipment or a buyer has failed to perform.

When does mTrade step into a transaction?

We step in when execution certainty is required and timing cannot wait.

In agricultural and soft commodity markets, transactions can stall for a range of reasons — buyer non‑performance, documentation issues, sudden market shifts or supply chain disruption. In many cases, goods are already in shipment.

Where continuity is at risk, we assess quickly and independently. If the commercial fundamentals are sound and risk can be priced with discipline, we step in as principal and execute.

Our objective is simple: keep goods moving and restore certainty where trade has stalled.

Who are your trading partners?

We trade with producers, exporters, trading houses and institutional counterparties across Asia‑linked agricultural and soft commodity corridors, as well as selected internationally traded goods.

Our counterparties are typically established commercial participants with identifiable operations, documented supply chains and defined contractual structures.

We engage directly, transact as principal and build relationships based on reliability, execution and disciplined pricing.
